Due to maintenance issues the Common Pleas Court, General and Domestic Relations Divisions, will be operating under the following modified schedule.  
6/23/25 8:00A.M.-12:00P.M.
6/24/25 8:00A.M.-1:30P.M.
6/25/25 8:00A.M.-12:00P.M.

The Court will still have the ability to hear Emergency Civil Protection Orders and Emergency Custody Orders.  Please contact the Hocking County Prosecutor’s Office to file the Orders during the modified schedule.  

The Clerk of Courts and Title office hours are 8:30 to Noon for the week of June 23rd to June 27th.

Resolution #20231205

WHEREAS, the Hocking County Board of Commissioners own, operates and maintains a public sewer system for certain Hocking County residents. 

WHEREAS, the Hocking County Board of Commissioners is authorized to adjust the fees charged for providing said sewer services to Hocking County residents. 

THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hocking County Commissioners set an annual increase of 3% to each of the above, effective January 1 st of each year, unanimously passed on December 12, 2022 

BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the Hocking County Commissioners hereby modify the amount to be charged per residential sewer bill from $50.00 to $51.50 (increase of 3%) per month effective January 0 1, 2024 - and hereby increase the amount to be charged per commercial sewer bill by 3% per month effective January 2024 usage. 

BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the Hocking County Commissioners have set forth the 3% annual increase, effective at the first of every year, to avoid larger increases for the Hocking County residents.
